Sam

Sam, a young teacher on Vancouver Island, has primarily worked as an elementary English Language Learner (ELL) teacher throughout his career. During his B.Ed. at UNB, he obtained certification in teaching English as a Second Language (which he enjoyed very much!). Following graduation, he taught English online in China while residing on Vancouver Island, teaching over 1000 classes. After this online teaching experience, he transitioned to his local school district, taking on a role as an ELL teacher. These experiences, combined with his lifelong passion for literacy, have opened his eyes to the language acquisition process and areas for improvement.
